Volunteer Needs
Your help is needed and will be greatly appreciated. NNLC has a variety of ways you can volunteer.
You can be a volunteer tutor.
We are currently developing a volunteer corps to tutor our adult students in a variety of subjects – math, grammar, writing, and reading comprehension. Students who need tutors are both English speaking and English As A Second Language learners. Training is provided and your time commitment can vary. If you are interested in helping an adult learner improve their basic skills, contact NNLC's program Specialist at 775.356.1007.
You can help raise dollars for our organization.
We are currently forming a volunteer corps that will act as a fundraising arm for our organization (similar to groups such as Friends of the Library). This volunteer corps will plan and conduct NNLC's fund raising activities throughout the year. If volunteering in this capacity interests you, contact NNLC's Executive Director at 775.356.1007.
You can help set the direction our organization will take in the years to come.
NNLC's Board of Directors is currently recruiting new Board members. Our Board meets bi-monthly and Board members actively engage in strategic planning activities. If serving in a leadership role interests you, please contact NNLC's Executive Director at 775.356.1007.
