The John and Karin Jelavich Scholarship was established in 2018. The mission of the scholarship is to provide financial assistance to individuals that are continuing their education at a community college and working toward workforce credentialing.
CRITERIA
Applicants must have completed their high school equivalency successfully and graduated from the Northern Nevada Literacy Council.
Applicants must be accepted as a full or part-time time student at a local community college for the upcoming academic semester.
If scholarship money is awarded, this is the only program that will receive the funds on behalf of the applicant.Applicants must be a citizen or legal permanent resident of the United States.
Applicants must complete and submit a Scholarship Application by DECEMBER 18, 2019.
