Join the NCCER Program
We are thrilled to announce that our program has been selected as one of only 25 adult education providers nationwide to receive a generous grant from the Coalition on Adult Basic Education (COABE), in partnership with NCCER and Lowe’s.
This exciting funding opportunity will allow us to launch a new Construction Education Training Initiative, designed to open doors to high-demand careers in the skilled trades. With this support, we will be offering:
- NCCER’s Core: Introduction to Basic Construction Skills
- OSHA-10 Safety Training
- Introduction to Carpentry, Plumbing, HVACR, or Electrical Trades
- Materials and resources for construction building projects
This new training initiative is a major step forward in helping adult learners gain access to sustainable, high-wage career pathways in one of the most in-demand industries in the country.
Our goal is to empower our students with the hands-on skills, safety knowledge, and industry certifications they need to succeed in construction and the skilled trades.
Additionally these students will be working on improving their basic education skills in Math and Reading, while some are working on achieving their High School Equivalency diploma.
We’re grateful to NCCER and Lowe’s for making this opportunity possible and to COABE for selecting our program. We look forward to launching our first cohort and helping our community build a better future.
